So, how does it work ?
Once the OxySpa tablet is added to the jacuzzi, it dissolves instantly, releasing our proprietary ActiGas® into the water.
This dissolved gas actively seeks and targets bacteria, viruses, algae and biofilms, penetrating their cell walls and destroying them from the inside out before they have a chance to respond. This means less chemical is required and no harmful poisons are released while bacteria and biofilms are under attack.

Do I need to use other chemicals in addition to OxySpa?
No.
All you need to do is add your OxySpa tablet twice a week to the jacuzzi when you get out. No need for other chemicals such as chlorine floaters, pH stabilisers and algaecides. OxySpa does it all.
Do I need to make sure my pH is within a certain range like other water treatment chemicals?
No.
OxySpa works at any pH, which means that if your water has a natural mineral character to it (often leading to an alkaline water), our OxySpa tablets will not alter the mineral balance in the water, leaving it the way nature intended.

I hate the chlorine smell and feel in my jacuzzi. Will this get rid of it?
Absolutely.
At OxyVate we are very against the use of chlorine and harsh chemicals due to their negative health effects as well as the harsh chemical smell and the feeling it leaves on your skin. There is also no need to use chlorine with OxySpa, it replaces the need for chlorine and equivalents.
Will OxySpa remove existing black algae and biofilm build-up?
Absolutely.
Since OxyVate acts as a full-spectrum biocide, it will not only emiminate bacteria, viruses and other unwanted nasties whcih can fester in jacuzzis. It is also highly effective against stubborn black algae. A true all-in-one.

Will OxySpa affect my skin or cause irritation?

Since there is hardly any chemical required to treat your jacuzzi, there will be almost no chemical that you will be exposed to, however, when you are in the water you will probably be exposed to the chemical to a degree.
Our ActiGas technology is so safe that it is FDA approved to be used as a mouth wash at 500x the strength used in the OxySpa tablet, so you really have nothing to worry about.
Our OxyFect disinfectant also uses the same technology, and is mandated in over 200 South African dentists. If it is safe enough for patients' mouths, it's safe enough for your skin.
How often do I need to add the OxySpa tablets to my jacuzzi?
Twice a week with average to heavy use.
You could get away with once a week if the jacuzzi is not in use, but you will have to play it by ear.
